The season of mists

I have already blogged about the mellow fruitfulness of this season.  When we took the small dog for her walk this morning it initially seemed quite cool but by the time we had got to the high point I was quite warm, and regretting wearing my vest.

This did mean that looking across the Plain towards Tallanganda was very picturesque,

This image shows the ranges across to Mt Palerang in the background.
Getting back into Whiskers Creek Rd the Welcome Swallows were lining up on the power lines as though they were Barn Swallows (or in jingoistic Pom terms simply 'Swallows') about to migrate.
