Colours of Lissanthe strigosa

In the top part of our block we have a few large clumps of Lissanthe strigosa, the Peach heath.  I posted an image of this earlier in the season when a flower emerged prematurely.  A theory was that the buds were pink but the flowers, when they emerged. were white.  We are finding that there is a range of colours as shown by the images.

All these images were taken from plants within 10m of each other in a similar slope, aspect and amount of shade.  I'd conclude that a good plant breeder could do very interesting things with a couple of generations of selective pollination!
